6/14移植したカボチャが心配で・・・・・ ― 2011/06/14 21:44
父が病院なので、今日はバイクで畑へ向かった。昨日からの雨で林道に水たまりが有る。ここしばらく天候が不順なので、畑はどうなっているのだろうと思い一人で来たものだ。天候不順でハウス通路にカビを見つけたので、通路全ての草取りと覆土を削り、ポットのピーターコーン・大豆などの堆肥混じりの土を足したり大きめのポットに移したりした。その後、古い農機具の桑や草欠き・鎌など刃を研ぎ錆を研磨してオイルを塗った。古いものは数十年経っている。さすがに刃はまいっている。移植したカボチャは順調だ。このカボチャの状況を確認したくて来たようなもので、15時までには引き上げるつもりだったがホウレン草の収穫とホウレン草の畝一本を再度耕したりして遅くなってしまった。種を蒔いてから約一ヶ月だが、ホウレン草の次の収穫はカブだ。すでにゴルフボールを超えている。収穫はもうすぐなのだ。
